Sweden Is For Lovers...
Sweden is for lovers of cozy beaches and cute summer cottages (like these on the island of Sandhamn in the Stockholm archipelago)
...for lovers of exquisitely fresh fish (and lots of wonderful flatbreads, too)
...for lovers of Harry Potter-like architecture, narrow cobbled streets and colored buildings like the ones found in Gamla Stan (Stockholm's "old town")
...as well as palatial architecture, too!
And Sweden is for Perfume Lovers!!
(Or, at least, Stockholm is for Perfume Lovers, as you can see by this photo from the perfume and cosmetics store that goes by the quirky name of Cow Parfymeri)
Hopefully I'll have a review posted sometime mid-week. Having just arrived home last evening, I still need a day or two to recover from the long flight -- and the cancelled flight on the last leg of our journey that made for a maddening and hectic return. Airport travel is a miserable affair these days, but the trip was worth it, as you can see. I only experienced a small part of Sweden, but it really is a lovely country...a true haven for lovers of nature, culture, and all manner of beautiful things.
